Subject: SID’s Display Week 2015 Distinguished Paper

To: Dr. Jin Jang

Congratulations! On behalf of the Society for Information Display (SID), it is our pleasure to inform you that your paper Quantum-Dot LEDs with Charge-Generation Layers (Paper 20.4) has been given the honor of being selected as a Dstinguished Student Paper of the 2015 SID International Symposium.

The Program Committee of Display Week 2015 decided this year to select a few papers to recognize some of the most significant technical advances represented in this Symposium.  These papers are given the honor of being named Distinguished Papers.  They were chosen by the program committee from all the contributed papers based on the originality and novelty of the work, the significance of the results, as well as the clarity and quality of the written summary in the technical digest.

For SID 2015, only thirteen (13) papers were selected for the honor of Distinguished Paper.

The Distinguished Papers will be recognized in the Final Program brochure as well as in the Symposium Digest.  We encourage you to make a special effort in preparing your presentation at the Symposium. It is our hope and belief that all the Distinguished Papers will receive special consideration from the Symposium attendees.

Please note that every author listed on the paper will be receiving a Distinguished Paper Award plaque at the 2015 Symposium.  All the plaques will be handed to the lead author at that time of presentation.  If the co-authors are not present, it will be the lead author’s responsibility to distribute the plaques to the co-authors.  Each plaque will be individually boxed and all the plaques will have the same inscription engraved on it.  The Convention Center Business Office provides shipping services but at the expense of the author.

Again, congratulations to you and your co-authors. We look forward to seeing you in San Jose.

Best Regards,
